Full-time employees and staff working 21 hours or more per week are eligible for health and welfare benefits on the 1st of the month following two full months of employment. Benefits for part-time salaried staff are pro-rated.
Family Service League currently provides a choice of three health plans for employees to choose from. Plans are Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) and include an employer contribution.
Family Service League currently provides a choice of two dental plans for employees. One plan is a DMO and one is a PPO. Both plans include an employer contribution.
Life and AD&D Insurance:
FSL provides life and AD&D insurance at no cost to employees. The benefit is equal to one year’s salary.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA):
Family Service League offers healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts to employees to save pre-tax dollars for covered expenses.
Short- and Long-term Disability:
FSL provides both short-term and long-term disability insurance at no cost to employees.
FSL offers a supplemental, voluntary vision plan for employees.
Other Supplemental Benefits:
FSL offers supplemental, voluntary insurance plans, including cancer and accident protection, personal sickness, and additional dental and vision. Additional short-term disability and life insurance is open to full-time staff that work over 30 hours/week.
FSL provides a Tax Deferred Annuity (TDA) Plan in which employees can make voluntary contributions up to IRS maximums.
FSL provides a pension plan for employees with a contribution of 5% of salary per year. Employees are eligible after 1 year of employment and are vested after 3 years.
Time Off Benefits:
Full-time staff receive 18.10 hours per month in Paid Time Off (PTO) accruals, for a total of 217 hours per year. Part-time salaried staff accruals are pro-rated. Eligible staff can use FSL’s PTO benefits after completing 3 months of employment
