Thanks to a generous grant from Nature’s Bounty, students at the Brentwood Community School had the opportunity to work with a professional chef to learn cooking techniques, recipes, and tips on healthy eating. The Westfield South Shore Mall, located at 1701 Sunrise Hwy., Bay Shore was the site of the Ribbon-Cutting for the “Coins for Camp Wishing Well” project. Bikes For Kids in America surprised 24 children from FSL’s Manor Field Family Center with new bikes. Watch as the kids first see the bikes, find their bike, and then gather outside to begin riding!
Project TOY provided toys to families who are struggling to provide for their children. Over 2,500 children will receive gifts this holiday thanks to the generosity of our supporters. One client at the William Floyd Family Center spoke about what Project TOY means to her.
FSL’s Backpacks For Back To School program provided over 2,500 children with backpacks filled with school supplies.
