PSEG Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Public Service Enterprise Group (NYSE:PEG), has awarded a $100,000 grant to Family Service League (FSL), a Long Island based non-profit human service organization. This funding will be dispersed over two years and will provide critical support for the FSL’s Bay Shore and Manor Field Family Centers. FSL’s Family Centers are community-based, multi-service facilities strategically placed in high density areas which provide a lifeline for some of the Long Island’s most vulnerable residents. Embedding services such as mental health clinics, job training workshops, substance abuse programs, and academic enrichment, in the communities where people live and work has increased accessibility for those who may otherwise be overlooked.

FSL is proud to have been selected as one of PSEG Foundation’s non-profit partner organizations. With this award, PSEG Long Island and the PSEG Foundation have made a generous commitment to local residents, which include thousands of people facing the emotional and physical hardships associated with chronic poverty.

“PSEG Foundation’s Sustainable Neighborhoods funding coordinates with FSL’s goal of providing critical educational, mental and behavioral health services across Long Island.  This generous grant means enhance services and furthering FSL’s outreach to children, adolescences, and families who depend on the vital programs FSL Family Centers provide.”
