“George To The Rescue” to Emcee Great Chefs

George Oliphant, host of NBC’s “George to the Rescue” will join Family Service League at “Great Chefs of Long Island”!

Family Service League is pleased to announce that the annual tradition of culinary excellence known as the “Great Chefs of Long Island” will be held on Monday, November 6th, 2017, 5:30-9:30pm at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY.  George Oliphant the Emmy award winning host of “George to the Rescue”, an NBC weekly national home improvement show, will join FSL as MC of the event’s fundraising program.  He is a frequent contributor to LXTV show and the Today Show.  The Oliphant team of contractors and interior designers are best known for traveling the nation, as well as Long Island, rescuing the homes of deserving people.

“Great Chefs of Long Island” features over 40 of Long Island’s top restaurants from Long Beach to the Hamptons.  Master Chefs present their best fare for an evening of signature dishes and decadent delicacies.  There will be wonderful wines, spirits, and microbrews to compliment this extraordinary tasting experience.  In addition, guests will be able to shop for unique designer gifts at the auction.    Always a festive and exciting night, this important fundraiser, Co-Chaired by Matt Niegocki of Prudential Financial Services and Dennis Russo of GEICO, helps thousands of Long Island children and families in need.
