Armed Forces Relief and Welfare Project

Program Purpose:
Emergency financial assistance for one time, non recurring expenses are available to Long Island military, reservist, and National Guard active in Operation Enduring/Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn and their families. 

Program Description:
AMAP is Relief and Welfare financial assistance for active military, reservist and National Guard in OEF, OIF and New Dawn.  As such, requests are made in person through the Family Centers’ Community Advocacy Information and Resources (CAIR) program. 

Persons Served:
OEF, OIF and New Dawn Long Island military, reservist, and National Guard and their families in need of one time financial assistance.

None
