Program Purpose:
The Home Safe program works with families who are at risk of the children being placed out of the home and in the foster care system. If the children are currently in the foster care system, services are provided to expedite their return home.
Program Description:
Utilizing family’s strengths, parents are assisted in stabilizing their family. Home visits are completed on a weekly basis, at the family’s convenience. Services include but are not limited to- court approved parenting and anger management courses, family communication skills building, school advocacy, navigation of systems within the social services spectrum, and referrals to additional services as needed.
Persons Served:
Families with child protective services involvement.
Referrals are made directly through Suffolk County Child Protective Services.

There is no fee for this service
