Program Purpose:
The Home Safe Parenting Program works with parents who have been court-ordered to attend parent education classes.

Program Description:
Utilizing their strengths, parents receive 6-8 weeks of court-approved parenting skills training designed to enhance parenting abilities and coping skills.

Persons Served:
Parents and/or other caregivers with a court-ordered mandate for parenting classes. Referrals are made directly through the Suffolk County Department of Social services, Child Protective/Preventive Division, Foster Care Services Division or Investigations Division.

Fees:
There is no fee for this service

Program Hours:
Hours are flexible- depending on the needs of the consumer
