Suffolk County Options For Female Adolescents (SOFA)

Program Purpose:
The Home Base IV (SOFA- Suffolk Options for Female Adolescents) program works with female adolescents who are on probation and at risk of placement outside of the home.
Program Description:
Utilizing their strengths, youths are assisted in stabilizing their lives so they are no longer in crisis. Home and/or school visits are completed on a weekly basis at the youth’s convenience. Services include, but are not limited to- Court approved Anger Management, school advocacy, job search, life coaching, communication skills building within the family, self esteem and self awareness building. Parents can also access our Court approved Parenting course. Referrals to additional services as needed.
Persons Served:
Female adolescents on probation. Referrals are made directly through Suffolk County Department of Probation.

There is no fee for this service
