Program Purpose:
Stony Brook University WIC program provides education and nutritional counseling to low income mothers.
Program Description:
Provides nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding support and counseling, immunization screening and referrals to health care providers; and prints and distributes supplemental food package checks for WIC eligible participants.
Persons Served:
Women who are 185% of the poverty level and receiving benefits such as
Medicaid, TANF, Head Start, Free and Reduced School Lunch Program,
or Food Stamps.

M, T, W - 9:00 am 5:00 pm
Thursday 11:00 am 7:00 pm
Friday 8:00 am 4:00 pm; First Sat. of Month – 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
