Child and Family Clinic - Plus

Program Purpose:
Child and Family Clinic-Plus is designed to treat emotional disturbances in children ages 5-18, and to provide community education and early identification of problems related to emotional well-being.

Program Description:
Free screenings will be provided to any child living in Riverhead, Southold, Shelter Island, East Hampton or Southampton. Children identified through screenings will be comprehensively assessed.  Those in need of treatment will either be referred to an appropriate provider or seen in one of FSL's five clinic locations. Home visits will also be provided when necessary.

Persons Served:
Children ages 5-18 and their families residing in one of the five East End towns.

Fees:
Screenings are free. Comprehensive assessments and treatment are on a sliding scale basis with Medicaid, third party insurance and out of pocket payments accepted. Under some circumstances, several visits that take place in the home or community may be subsidized.

Program Hours:
Varies by location but all sites offer afternoon and evening hours and some have Saturday scheduling.
