Program Purpose:
The Children and Youth Mobile Mental Health Clinic provides quality mental health services to children and adolescents with serious DSM-IV diagnoses who have previously been unable to access traditional mental health services. Services are provided to children and their families in their homes and their communities.
Program Description:
The Children and Youth Mobile Mental Health clinic provides a full array of mental health services including screening, assessment; diagnosing and treatment planning; verbal psychotherapy including play and family psychotherapy; crisis intervention; and medication evaluation and management.
Persons Served:
Services are provided to children and adolescents from 5 years to 18 years of age living in the area from William Floyd Parkway east to the North and South Forks of Long Island.
Fees:
Most insurance is accepted including Medicaid.
There are no self pay fees.
Program Hours:
The hours of the program are flexible to meet the needs of the children
and families. Evening and some weekend hours are also available.
