Program Purpose:
The Kornreich Computer Literacy Center will train adults in office work skills on the computer such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Each class will be staffed with a bi-lingual (Spanish/English) computer instructor and tech support assistant.
Program Description:
Computer training will include structured group/individual instruction related to Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Keyboarding, and Internet applications. Computer classes are provided throughout the year and based on specific skill level – beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Classes run for a 10 week period. Participants who successfully complete the training will receive a certificate of completion.
Persons Served:
Low-income adults who are residents on Mineola.
Fees:
No charge for eligible adults.
