Internship Programs at Family Service League
Student Internships are offered at Family Service League. Both undergraduate and
graduate social work students from universities and colleges may apply. We work
closely with schools on Long Island and New York City.
Students have the opportunity to work closely with our professional staff in a variety of
diverse programs and receive excellent supervision.
Internships are individualized to student requirements and interests and may involve
providing case management with individuals and families, client advocacy, crisis
intervention, counseling children and families, providing therapy to individuals with
psychiatric disabilities, chemical dependency and/or substance abuse issues. FSL will
carefully consider your interest and create the best possible internship for you.
FSL has numerous locations throughout Suffolk County and, depending on your area of
interest, we can try to find an office convenient for you.
