On October 23rd, Family Service League was awarded a 2019 Top Workplaces honor by Newsday as well as a special award for Top Workplaces Managers. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. Energage anonymously poll more than 16,000 employees at 117 LI companies of which 80 were selected with this distinction. FSL was ranked #4 in the Large Business Category which included Long Island companies with over 500 employees. The survey measured several important aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, satisfaction, and benefits, just to name a few. “Top Workplaces put the employee at the center of things, and focus on creating the right environment to unleash potential and inspire performance,” said Doug Claffey, founder of Energage, Newsday’s research partner for Top Workplaces.
“Earning the acknowledgment as a Newsday 2019 Top Workplace and Top Workplace Managers is a proud achievement for Family Service League. These awards speak to our organization’s principles, strong work ethic, values, and commitment to our employees. These facets combine to enhance the overall quality of the broad spectrum of programs which we provide for thousands of children and adults across Long Island. I am incredibly proud of the FSL staff,” said Karen Boorshtein, President & CEO of FSL.
