Children and Parents Together (CAPT)

CAPT helps expectant and existing parents (both custodial and noncustodial) who have a mental health problem. The program groups individuals together so they can learn more about parenting and discuss other issues and concerns, ultimately helping them to function well in their personal, family and community lives and maintain their mental health. An important aspect of this treatment includes ongoing infant/toddler stimulation and age-appropriate activities for their children, as well as active participation in their child’s preschool education, socialization and skills development.
