40 of Long Island’s best restaurants featured at “Great Chefs of Long Island”, proceeds to benefit Family Service League!

Family Service League is pleased to announce that the annual tradition of culinary excellence known as the “Great Chefs of Long Island” will be held on Monday, November 6th, 2017, 5:30-9:30pm at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY.  Always a festive and exciting night, this important fundraiser, Co-Chaired by Matthew Niegocki of Prudential Advisors and Dennis Russo of GEICO, helps thousands of Long Island children and families in need.

The evening features over 40 of Long Island’s top restaurants from Long Beach to the Hamptons.  Master Chefs present their best fare for an evening of signature dishes and decadent delicacies.  There will be a large selection of wines, spirits, and microbrews to compliment this extraordinary tasting experience.  In addition, guests will be able to shop for unique designer gifts and luxury services at the auction.

FSL is proud to have the opportunity to present with Mr. Scott Maskin, President of SUNation Solar Systems, with the 2017 Corporate Leadership Award.  Mr. Maskin co-founded SUNation, a Ronkonkoma-based solar design and installation company, in 2003.  He is currently serving on the Board of Hauppauge Industrial Association (HIA).  This honor recognizes SUNation and Mr. Maskin’s dedication to helping build strong, healthy Long Island communities.

“Dennis Russo and I are very excited to assist Family Service League with Great Chefs.  Much needed funds are generated from this fantastic culinary tradition.  It requires a collaborative effort on the part of the generous donors, committee volunteers, FSL Board and staff.  The committee is very pleased that proceeds of the night go to help so many Long Islanders in need.”
